Refused Refund - Substandard Photocards Received

I was told I could get a refund due to receiving 10 badly done photo cards via this photosharing site's Facebook page. The price I paid was $45.49 for these photos. I just heard from them and now they've refused to give me a refund. They'd stoop to a $10 credit for any replacements or new orders.

A $10 credit is NOT enough. I feel I am being ripped off unfairly. Here is his reply as of today.

"Dear Tony, I spoke with the vendor management team and they cannot issue a full refund for this order. There is a $10 credit issued to your webshots account for future orders or to replace an order. Sincerely, Patrice EPhotoWorks Customer Care."

I think I should get the full refund since these cards are unusable and did not turn out like the originals through no fault of my own.

I ordered 10 photo calendar cards for the holidays. I was having problems getting my selected photos dragged into the area for the photo on the card as I am technically challenged and it just didn't look right. So I asked two different Webshots people to look at this for me. They did and said they did not see anything wrong. Before that I had asked Photoworks Live Chat for help but they said they only took care of shipping.

So, trusting the replies that all looked okay, I went ahead and ordered the cards. When I got them they were "off" — these are horizontal scenery / outdoors cards from various parks.

These photos need to be perfectly centered just as they are in their original form.in past years ordering from Webshots, I never had any problems; the photos turned out fine. Now all 10 are flawed so that I would be embarrassed to send them out. They are off-center, to one side; and larger than the originals.

This company should have a form where people can simply drag their photos down to a card form and have the photos show up exactly as they are in the originals as they look in the online photo albums I selected them from.

I feel I am wrongly ignored and dismissed — especially as I was ALREADY told I could get a refund because I was not satisfied with the way they turned out. I am low-income and this was a good chunk of money for me to shell out for these, then to be treated so stingily when asked for a refund because of shoddy results.

I am one of their "Premium" members and have been for several years. This means I pay a yearly fee for online photo storage of my digital albums at Webshots.

Thanks,

Tony Holiday
