Venture to Microsoft.com for student software and they have you enter your school email address to verify you are a studeent. The site on 10/29/10 indicated Windows 7 will be $29.95. After you receive the microsoft email you are directed to their software seller digital river. Once there th eprice rises to $64.95 for a download, another $5.95 if you want the numbers recorded in case your system crashes plus $13 if you want a disc sent. Where did the student prrice of $29.95 go???
oops no one knows! Avoid digital river! Not only will your end price rise but if you lose the software and have not bought their extras, you're done!
microsoft - getting more greedy. Remember, you began with students, perhaps students will be your downfall!!!
