Ive seen several scam reports on this company and unfortunately have to say that I too am a victim. They called me up and were talking a mile a minute and could not comprehend everything they were telling at the moment. When it was all said and done they basically said that I had registered with them (which I did not) for a number of magazines and that they needed to update my account. They had my address, phone numbers, and even the last 4 digits of my credit card. I wasnt sure if my wife registered/ordered these magazines through them, so I gave them my information.in the next few months I got several other calls in the exact same format in regards to updating my account information at which time they had the last 4 digits of my credit card. Come to find out the other calls were different companies (which I am also filing usacomplaints.com on). I now have three different internet companies billing me for magazines.
In regards to this company, I called the company phone number and left a message with them (every time I have called I have never reached a live person on the first time). When they called back, I tried to cancel my services with them because I have never received a magazine from them. They told me it could take up to 120 days, so I called back after 120 days of still not receiving my magazines to cancel my subscription and was told that it was impossible to cancel and would have to pay the remaining balance on the bill. After this, I called my credit card company and told them the situation and they reissued a new account number so that they couldnt bill me anymore. I now get calls from them on a daily basis threatening to file a collection agency on me.
I have no idea what do at this point. If anyone has further information in regards to this issue and how to clear this mess up I would greatly appreciate it.
