Back in 2008 I was asked to perform some work on the FilmClix website by Julia O'Sullivan. She promised to pay $3000 per month for a term of 1 year. I did the work that she requested, each month when it came time to pay she came up with a different excuse. She hadn't gotten any more from her investors, she had to pay medical expenses, she had to travel to "build the company", etc.
After a period of 1 year and her owing me more than $36,000 I terminated our contract. Afterwards I heard from other people who had worked with/for her and found that she had done the same to them. I've also heard rumors that she was a freeloader who would stay in people's homes but never pay rent (even when asked) and had opened a credit card in somebody else's name and charged thousands of dollars. She has people listed in the "management" section of her website that she claims are working for her but I've spoken with some of those people and they've told me that she owes them money too and they have nothing to do with her anymore.
I had a collections agency try to get her to pay on her outstanding invoices but they were unable to find her or any assets that FilmClix owns. Basically they told me that she's a scammer and they had information that she had done this to other people in the past.
