I have been a member of Club Bing for over a year. The site offers the member to play games where every answer is then automatically searched on Microsofts new search engine BING which gives them market shaer enabling advertisting revenue etc.
I had played for over a year slowly accumulating tickets for one of the bigger prizes and have never recieved one. I waited the 12 weeks as requested but became apprehensive when my father informed me he had been accused of cheating after being a member for 3 years and actually accumulating some prizes.
I had a feeling I too would be accused of cheating and so it came true yesterday. I however never recieved one prize. Microsft never in that entire time once contacted me to inform me that they thought I was not following the rules and would not recieve prizes. Microsoft left my account open, allowed me to order additional prizes, and most importantly allowed me to keep playing games that makes them the money.
I was the one who sent an email to request status on the prizes due me under the terms of the agreement of siging up to be a Club Bing Member. It was at that time I was informed in a the same form letter my father recieved that my prizes are all cancelled because I violated one or all of the many rules spelled out in the Terms and Conditions.
The people that I know that had received gifts at all were the very cheap items such as water pitcher (my husbands only prize to arrive) and wind up flashlights that my daughter ordered on her account.
I would hate to think that Microsoft would do this intentionally and would possible just have a majorly flawed system of identifying accounts that are not in compliance. But the fact that they continue to let people play games and earn them money while silently cancelling prize orders never informing the club member of the state of the account until the club member brings up the issue.
This is dishonest behavior and I think I have come to a conclusion about Microsoft. "My support team has reviewed your behavior and evaluated the game play history in your company". Furthermore When communicating that my prizes had been cancelled Club Bing does not tell you the reason your account was identified. They tell you that you could have cheated in a number of ways and never seem to respond to any more requests for information and never close your accout or take away tickets,

Also, Club Bing identifies accounts where the shipping address has been obfuscated to avoid limitations on prizes. These types of activities violate our Terms and Conditions and result in cancellations of prize order (s).
