Another Satellite Direct TV Scam
Its not a question if Satellite Direct is a legitimate product; Satellite Direct is a scam operation!
On September 1, I hastily purchased the Satellite Direct software advertised for $29.95, but when the transaction went through, it was posted onto my bank account for $49.95 managed by a transaction company called CLKbank.com, also known as ClickBank.net.By the time I realized what I had done, it was too late. So I thought, OK, Ill contact Satellite Direct and let them know what had happened and also get some technical help on how to improve the HD quality. So I clicked onto Satellite Direct Live Technical Support, but only the email default was available and so I wrote them accordingly. The next day I receive an email stating Undeliverable Mail by [email protected]. After further research for some type of contact info, it was clear theres no sense in contacting ClickBank.net with the dissatisfied customer crap because there is no phone number available either - theyre only the transaction company you will simply be told to contact Satellite Direct. Even the most computer savvy can make mistakes, but I was certain my hasty purchase allowed me to be scammed.in my opinion, I wouldnt let ClickBank.net fool you either, if theyre participating with such scammers as Satellite Direct then ClickBank.net could be a scam operation as well. All theses various consumer reports seemed genuine praising Satellite Direct for their HD (High Definition) clarity and its ability to view it on your HD Television by way of your computer verses Dish Satellite or Direct TV. Turns out all this praise appears to be an organized advertising program to mislead consumers into believing their product competes with HD Television and added to the scam is the SSL (Secure Socket Layer) they use to further lead you to believing your online purchase is processed by a fuzzy warm trusting company who is using VeriSign Trusted and McAfe Secure layering programs, which if they are legitimate business associates of ClickBank.net, then it doesnt speak well of McAfe or VeriSign. All this Satellite Direct TV is simply streaming video and nothing more. If any of you have been scammed before like me, filing a police report is a veil approach because of the value involved. My bank is well known for its participation in collecting information and customer service programs regarding fraudulent transactions. I filed my transaction claim as fraudulent and unfortunately will have to wait for a new credit card and take my personal time to complete the dispute in hopes of retrieving my $49.95 purchase. The facts are there is no customer service contact portal for Satellite Direct, and no contact phone numbers what so ever for both ClickBank.net and Satellite Direct. According to my research, Satellite Direct operates under the domain name ETVCORP.info. Upon further research via Whois.com I learned the contact phone number 1.678.413.0765 under the name John Rieber, appears to be bogus. A lady answered the phone and in her reply didnt have a clue.
