Mac-Forums, The Ultimate Source For Your Mac, Schweb, biased website, will not let members post helpful information, members harass, moderators rude, bans members within one week of registration

I like vintage computers, I like getting the most out of them, and I don't believe a computer is obsolete after one year. When I am wondering about computers or need to troubleshoot them, I do internet searches.

I was wondering about g3 imacs I have. I was wondering about flv and swf files on them. You may look at it either way: g3 hardware can't play flv and swf files very well. Flv and swf files are not designed for g3 hardware. Both of these statements are correct.

I was wondering if there was a solution on how to easily play flv, swf, and any other affected video files. I did an internet search. I found two convincing links in the search results. One of them from the Low End Mac website had the solution. The other one from The Mac Forums website, did not. This is the thread I found in the search results.

I did not believe the other members to be helpful to the thread author's inquiry. I signed up with my usual username and selected custom text with different colors, sizes, and fonts. No other website has had a problem with me joining their website, No other website has had a problem with my username, and No other website has had any problems with customized text. This website has.

After posting feedback of my solution in detail, some members provided other helpful solutions. Others made the thread off-topic and decided to make comments about my user name, arguing who was correct, and personal attacks and harassment against me.

I reported the personal attacks, harassment, and fighting, particularly with a member with the username "Chris H." Nothing was done. Also, my text was edited back to the default text which is a dull, light grey and very difficult to read. I posted in the Community Suggestions and Feedback message board with the title "Colors, Sizes, And Fonts: "

There is nothing in the terms of service that mentions customized text. None of the other members verified their claims by doing internet research and yet they still said I was wrong. Not once did I respond to any other member at their level and use of words. Not once did I "yell": I did not use all caps; all bold, italics, and underlines; I did not comment about the members themselves; and I never used profanity. Rules are rules and there is never a time or excuse to break them. Unfortunately some members got away with breaking the site's rules.

I signed up on Friday. The following Wednesday, I received a message saying:

"You have been banned for the following reason:
Not a good fit

Date the ban will be lifted: Never"

I also received a message from Schweb, the website admin, accusing me of being rude to a moderator, with quoted text from an irrelevant forum post. I am not sure which moderator Schweb is referring to. A moderator, dtravis7, has been extremely rude to me.

And to make myself clear: I would not and will not ever post a response telling other members to do what Chris H. Has mentioned to me, and yet "Chris H.", "Dtravis7", and "pigoo3" have broken the rules and nothing has been done.

This is what I would like to have happen:

When The Mac Forums website says "The Ultimate Source For Your Mac", it is lying. It does not provide solutions for every mac. They do not have any message boards for what are dubbed low end computers and their operating systems. The other members do not verify what they say in their posts. They do not do research. They are rude to members that are trying to troubleshoot their macs. This includes moderators and the site admin. This website tagline needs to be changed to something that is telling the truth. They are not the ultimate source for your mac.

I want Chris H. And other members that violated the terms of service to be punished with methods such as suspensions because they violated the terms of service.

I want to be able to delete all my posts. Since my solutions do not match the theme of The Mac Forums website, I must delete every post. This includes Chris H.'s unnecessary, arrogant, and harassing responses to my posts.

I want to delete my account at The Mac Forums website. They do not delete accounts at The Mac Forums. It is pointless to ban accounts and never let members delete their accounts. I want to be able to delete my account.

I would also like everybody to know about the behavior of some of the members and some of the moderators of The Mac Forums website, making the site completely useless.

If you need information about your Apple device, whether if it is a Macintosh or a gadget, I strongly encourage everybody to seek information from other websites and sources due to the bias of The Mac Forums website and attitudes of some of the members and the moderators.

Thank You And Have A Good Day.
