I bought a notebook in 2001 with an extended warranty until 2005. The sales person told me Physical damage (dropping, burning, spilling and cutting the screen) was going to be covered (I have a witness) and now the Circuit City Manager says that physical damage is not covered.
I went to Circuit City and they asked me to call the warranty company and to get a case number. I did that today and they gave me the case number however, they told me that physical damage is not covered. I called Circuit City and the customer service representative told me the only thing they can do since it was the Cashier's fault is to write him up. I spoke with the Store Manager, Dino Kalani, and he said that there is nothing they can do.
I have proof of purchase and there is nothing on it stating that the Physical damage is not covered.
