Cricket Communations, INC Cricket & Freedom Wireless Dishonest Return Policy

On 5/14 I went to Cricket Wireless to buy a wireless broadband service. I talked to salesman name Rick Baker, after asking him if the product was available in my area, I bought a Cricket Wireless Broadband W40 Modem. I was told that they had a 3 day return policy. When I tried to us there product I could only get one bar on the signal. I call Rick Baker and explained this to him, he told me to uninstall the product and reinstall it to see if I could pick up another tower. I did this and the signal was still showing on bar. 5/15 I took the product back to Rick Baker for a full refund, I was told that I would not receive the $83.99 I paid on 5/14. I would only receive $40.59 for the wireless broadband usd modem, and the 40.00 for the first month of services would not be refunded, because the store is not a Cricket Corporation store. And there policy is not the return the first month of services.

I ask what are you talking about the only name on the store is Cricket's. I look around the store and I did not see any signs stating there was another name for the location at 126 N Bolingbrook Drive, In Bolingbrook IL 60440. Nor was there any information on this Policy. He (Rick Baker) told me to look at my receipt. The true name of the store is Freedom Wireless, and there policy is on the receipt. I asked how are the customers to know that this is not Cricket Corp store and there policy do not apply here, he said look at your receipt. I Called Cricket and talked a customer service rep name Sarah, and she informed me that she would put a note in the system requesting the store give me a full refund, and all I had to do was take the product back to the store. I went back to store and tried to return the product and was told by Rick Baker that the system only stated (The Customer would like a full refund). Needless to say I stuck with this product. I have tried calling Cricket Corp I keep getting people who speak very little English, and cannot solve the problem... Anita Wilde
