Homestead, Quickbooks I cancelled Intuit website service, they continue to charge my credit card & refuse refunds when it is their erro

I dropped a reliable service for my website hosting to give Intuit website services a try because of some of the features it offered. I signed up for the 30 day free trial, thinking that in a day or two I should have my website back online with no problem.

It was a month later and I still was not able to publish my new website because intuits website tools were very time consuming and gave me too many problems.

I did go over the 30 days free trial period and was charged $19.99. I didn't mind paying the first charge because I should have cancelled before then, but as soon as I was charged, I decided that it was too difficult and taking too long to set my site up with Intuit and my website had been down for a month, which was hurting business, so I immediately cancelled and went back to my old website hosting service and had my site back online in 4 hours.

The next month, AFTER I cancelled the intuit service, I was charged again. I contacted them via a "Help Ticket" on their website and never heard back from them. (they claim to respond within 24 hours.) I told them that I had cancelled the account and that they needed to look into this and issue a refund to my credit card.

The other day I was billed again!!! I tried calling them, but they (obviously intentionally) make it impossible for you to navigate phone menu after phone menue, only to tell you they do not understand your response and tell you to visit their website before you are disconnected. You cannot get a human on the line, even if they tell you to press "3" or whatever to speak to a representative, they will disconnect you.

So I wrote several more tickets after several failed attempts to talk to someone on the phone. No one responded for a couple of days and I wrote another one telling them I would report to BBB, Attorney General, consumer advocates at news stations as well as spreading the word on my TV show, the internet and anywhere else people would be listening. They finally responded to my first message from 2 months ago.

They told me I would have to call them to cancel and that they are not able to issue refunds. I have all the proof I need that I cancelled and that they are charging me AFTER I cancelled. I wrote them and told them I had cancelled and that they are still charging me and instead of taking care of it they charge me again when they were already on notice that I had cancelled the account with them and they charge me again!!!

I cancelled online, so I don't know why the account is still active, even though I got confirmation that it was cancelled, so how is it they are still billing me and charging my card? And not that I haven't tried calling, but they make it impossible to get through, but either way, what difference does it make if it is a phone call or messaging through their Help Tickets. Why can't they grant my wish and issue a refund for what they have charged me AFTER I CANCELLED the first time and be sure the account gets cancelled so I won't be charged again in the future. And to say they are not able to issue refunds is a bunch of B.S. I know better than that, especially if they are charging me after I cancelled, I know they can... And will, eventually, have to return those funds to me.

Not to mention that they are the worst customer service and they are VERY RUDE!

They act like they are not going to do anything for me and I should just accept it and I have no reason to be angry.

Moral of the story, do not use Intuit/Homestead/Quickbooks website hosting services. The tools are too difficult and time consuming and if you decide to cancel the account after using their free trial, they make you think it is cancelled, but you find out later that it is still active and they are still billing you and they not only won't do anything to help you, but act like you are the jerk and it is your problem and they aren't going to make it right, like they have a right to keep taking your money when you tell them to cancel.

Intuit are nothing more than Cyber Thugs. They are theives because charging me after I cancelled and refusing to refund what they have taken after I cancelled makes this not an error on thier part, but crosses the line to theivery. They are steeling money from my credit card and basically telling me I just need to live with it?

We'll see about that!

Just wanted to warn the world BEFORE they get caught up in this same situation.
