Back on Novemeber 12 I bought a promotion for a private coaching by Matt Harward called IMWarfare. I had not heard of Matt Harward before finding him online and had done some research to see if he had any complaints for fraud or anything shady.
When my search came back with praises for the guy and his software, I was excited to find someone who appeared to have a clean track record and a solid online business who was teaching others to do the same.
I ended up buying a promotion for this coaching at a discount for $990 for his "Birthday Special" and that saved me some money by paying in full. I used my Paypal account to purchase and secure my spot in what Matt Harward called the "Brain Trust".
I received my welcome email and private forum access and was very excited to get started with everything he was going to be sharing with us.
Matt Harward came in sloppy and said that this was due to him never running a private coaching like this and was new to running a forum and we excused him for that because we were more interested in the content and value of the course rather than appearance and things.
The first piece of content he released was an Amazon module which was nothing more than an online script that would allow you to get Amazon affiliate commissions for getting traffic to your website.
Matt released a webinar showing how to use it and made it seem like we'd make a lot of money using this system. The training was terrible and it consisted of using sites like Squidoo to build lenses driving traffic to your site. It was a lame attempt to make unsuspecting users believe that by posting a Squidoo lens you could drive enough traffic to your site and make a lot of money from home.
I took the idea and tried creating a bunch of sites the way Matt Harward said to do it and I went beyond Squidoo and even tried other web 2.0 sites and blog commenting etc. And I made ~$20 USD total. What's worse is Amazon won't pay me.
You are capped I guess at earnings so until I earn over $100 USD then I won't even see that check.
Matt has had several excuses on why content has not been released as promised including being cut off the internet while on vacation or in the mountains or home internet problems. Matt has also said that he had a back injury and was locked out of his own forums. Give me a break.
It has been 5 months since I joined and I have been begging Matt Harward for a refund for this course. I have tried calling him on his cell phone, emailing him at his personal email address, Private Messaging him on his private forums and he will not reply.
I went to Paypal and they said that I had just missed the deadline for refunding with them and they refused to help me further. Meanwhile I am locked out of the content and private forums that I paid for in full along with a hand full of other members while Matt Harward has kept all our money.
There are over 344 members who paid at least $990 a piece to join this private group. That is over $340,000 USD that he has taken in off of this one promotion. Some of those members are his buddies so the figure is not 100% accurate but you get the idea of the amount of money we're talking about.
Stay clear of Matt Harward or Phat Rock LLC.
