WildBlue Internet Service is poor at best - WildBlue Internet Service

I have been a customer of WildBlue internet service for almost 2 years. I have received multiple reasons why I have never achieved the minimum download speed I paid for, much less the maximum! (That is a joke). Their customer service and technical representatives have only been interested in getting me to upgrade my plan. After I did, there was very little improvement in speed. Apparently, service can also be affected my weather patterns in another area, even though it is sunny where I live. The final insult is that they have lied to me outright regarding the speed I am getting, even though I have monitored it using multiple sites. They of course, want you to use their site only. They can no longer get money out of me by upgrading, so now their new effort is to get me to pay for a repair visit, costing $99. Supposedly, there has been a strong storm "recently, which damaged the dish". Funny, I don't remember any strong storms, and my neighbors aren't having any problems with their Hughes Net dishes??? They are a dishonest company with poor customer service, the installation company they used damaged my roof, and best of all, internet connection & speed is independent of the plan you pay for! However, on a positive note, I am thankful that my contract expires in 2 months.
