The folks at Govregistry play this anticonsumer deceptive game. When you do background search on prospective employee, you must put in the search criteria first, then the website will lead you to search results. This is where you pay $29. Now after you have paid it pulls up the name of you results BUT when you click on the "See Results", it tells you that you will need to upgrade to "InteliGator Premium Service" for $4.95! What the hell is that? Plus it is an "ongoing fee", unless you cancel!!! You know how those always work out!
Gov Registry's customer service will give you the same canned response you see in the rebuttal in previous complaints above, but never address the issues. They have no intent on refunds or even to provide a service, but rather just get you for $29 once you have gone too far.
If a websites service REALLY was that great (and honest), and the company is a true to life moral and ethical company, the price of membership would be pasted big and clear right on the home page with no deceptive gimmicks beyond after one has paid the $29. Crap like that is a red flag on any website. We live and learn don't we?
