Complete Investigation Services, Hiding behind their fine print (terms of service). Deceptive sign-up practice. All real searches are "Direct Searches" (not unlimited), which cost money

What a rip! Anyone who looks at the website at face value (which is nearly everyone) is going to be lead to believe that for a one-time fee of $30 $9 for unlimited searches that you will be able to pull everything the site has to offer, unlimited. THIS IS DEFINITELY NOT THE CASE.

I emailed CISNationwide customer service before buying to confirm this, but they failed to respond within their 48-hour claimed response period. Hmm... Bad sign.

Well, I took the plunge and paid anyway... And was sorely disappointed.
You get a $30 CREDIT to use TOWARDS accessing any real data. Sure, you can do "free unlimited" searches all day long and get hits on possible matches (this is free anyway), but when you click on a person/item -then you are presented with a page showing the cost to see the data you actually want.

FYI: Here are some of the actual "Direct Search" costs:
NOTE: THESE PRICES ARE NOT VISIBLE UNTIL *AFTER* YOU REGISTER (PAY)
-Basic Background check: $15
-Comprehensive check: $30
-Court Record: $20
-Reverse Cell phone lookup: $15
-Warrant Search: $10
-Bankruptcy Search: $5
-Criminal History: $15
-Birth/Death Record: $5
-Marriage/Divorce Record: $5
-People Search: $5
-Email Search: $6
-Property Records: $15
-Company backgrounds: $15
-Employment history: $5
-Sex offender search: $10

So before spending any of my $30 credit, I attempted to get a refund. I received a reply the next day stating, in essence, that I should have known better.
Sorry buddy, no refund for you. The "Unlimited Searching" is just that... Search results. They provide no actual data... You have to spend your "Direct Search" credits to get that!
