In November I sent Richard $499 via paypal for a multistore mall. I stayed in contact with him for the next 2 1/2 months because thats how long it took him to actually install anything on my server. After the first install I ran into a problem that prevented me from using the software. It took another 2 weeks to get him to install the fix. I will be honest the software really looked promising. I thought all of my patience had finally paid off. But then I found another module that was missing. And I could not get this guy to answer his phone or e-mail for another week and a half. So I finally gave up and filed a dispute with paypal. And within 30 seconds of filing the paypal dispute, he popped out of the wood-work like a cock-roach in headlights. Amazingly his e-mail started working again. I say amazingly because he always had 3 or 4 excuses as to why I never received any of his e-mails.
Anyway, He sends me an e-mail asking what I want to do? So I said please fix the module or refund my money. I never heard from him again. I sent him a couple more e-mail asking if he was working on the module.
MULTISHOPCMS is the name of the software today. But it might change after this report filing. So beware of the man behind the software... RICHARD ERVING!!!
I wish I found usacomplaints.com before I paid him. If anyone else has a problem report him to PAYPAL, and to the http://www.IC3. GOV
I left out a lot of details, but someone named shannon filed a report last year. When I read her report I was amazed at just how similar her experience was to mine.
Oh... And he claims that the software is open-source... But there are files on my server that are encrypted...
