My husband bought some software that was supposed to help him advance his status in the World of Warcraft game. The $25 was paid to this company, the software was downloaded. My husband used it once, and then it quit working. He went into the "read me" files and noticed that some components were missing.
We had been in communication with this seller since June 5th: "The program is not working as expected. My husband has tried since we bought it to get it to run. It will not run properly. Please refund our money. This is the email that I use for paypal." I gave the transaction details.
On, Fri, 6 Jun we got an email from the seller; "Dear Dorothy, I apologise for delay in responce. Our product's are tested and work's well on all server's. I am sending you step by step instruction's on how to use our Product, if you still have problem's using our software, Please write to us in detail on what you are doing, and what problem you are facing."
Our response, 6/9/08: "We have been trying all of these. I got it to work the first day with a buff, it worked just outside ironforge but when I moved from area it did not work any longer and has not worked since. As for the long list I tried every search to narrow it down and it stayed at 422, then when I checked every one of the 422 it had no effect on the stats. Also in the "readme" it says there should have been a tutorial in the ce folder the only thing there was 2.3.1 addresses. Txt, there was no cheat engine v5.4 or tutoria or ce tutorial. Txt. So right now the program is not working for me and we would like or money back. Thank you very much."
There was another communication from the seller on 6/9- more of the same "try this, try that". We responded: "I have been trying all of these; that's how it explains it in your readme file. I am following your read me to the letter. That's why I was pleased when it worked the first time but has not worked since." The software worked one time and has not worked since. We've done all the procedures that the seller told us to do.
We have not heard back from the seller since 6-9-08. We opened a dispute with Paypal, which is how we paid for the software, and they have not responded to the dispute. We escalated the dispute to a claim, but Paypal denied the claim saying that "we do not guarantee the quality of goods received".
Do NOT do business with this company! This was a total waste of $25!! Save your money.
