Thumbs all the way down!

I started internet service with AT&T in Feb. 2010. I did not have any problems with the service, but did notice that I had not been receiving any bills. I called customer service and was told that no bills were showing in the system and I must have had 3mnths free service when I signed up.informed rep that I 3mnths had already passed and I should have received a bill by now. Needless to say that my service was interrupted for non-payment. I contacted customer service, which by the far is the WORST customer service that I have EVER encountered, to inquire about my service. I was informed of a bill that I had already called about. The rep informed me that there was no records of me ever calling in. I made a payment on my acct. And was told that my internet was going to be on within 72 hrs. Needless to say, I STILL DO NOT HAVE INTERNET. It is has been over a month now. I have spoken to over 20 reps who have transferred me from one to place to the other. One hand does not know what the other is doing. I was promised call back from managers, who not to my surprise, did not return any phone calls. I was told that I had to wait for another customer to cancel in order for me to get internet service in my area again. Go figure, AT&T, one of the biggest companies. What a joke!!! This has been one of the most horrific experiences I have ever had to encounter. Their customer service sucks!!!
