On January 28th I was the top bidder for a ukulele up for bid on listia.com.
I submitted a $25.00 money order to this individual as per the bidding arrangement.
I waited for delivery of the item and after two weeks it hadn't arrived. I contacted the user several times to ask where my items was and was told they would send it. Soon after that email I noticed this user's ratings tanking with negative remarks. Several people had not received their items as well.
Granted most of these items are "free" but the "seller" usually requests shipping fees as mine was because the item needed to be packed correctly.
Filing a police report over $25.00 dollars is a waste of time for me (and them) all the way over here in Texas so I turned to complaint because these reports are indexed online.
Garrett Larson: Send me back my 25$ or at least communicate with your users on listia. Responsible communication could have forgiven this gaff. Now your name is on this report forever. There were several auctions after mine, so I'm quite sure you aren't dead and people could have communicated for you if you were sick. It appears Garrett's username has been blocked on listia but he could have signed up under someone else's name so this will serve as a warning to other listia users.
