I came across this add. Very convincing when you see someone from your home town displayed as being very successful working from home. They caught me at a very vulnerable time in my life where I was laid off of my job after 20 years and have been struggling doing the same kind of work as an independent contractor of services.
The add said that it requires 2 steps, 1. Robert Allen Income kit and 2 Massoline kit.
I started with the Robert Allen and saw that it was not $9.95 but $49.95 and instructions after registration how to get the rebate. After entering my name etc I found that there were pop-ups for more and I kept clicking "No thanks". This website gave me no options to cancel or to back out of the site. I kept me going forward with more offers. I called my credit card company immediately. It was pending and I can not dispute it until it has cleared to my card. There was no phone number or contact information to contact this company except in the privacy policy. That had an email to opt out of subscriptions but no phone number. I am so mad at myself for falling for this scam. Now I just want my $52.95 back. Yes, the charge on my card was not $49.95 but $52.95. I saw the 2nd part to this scam and read the terms and conditions before I even considered entering my name and it said after 3 days you will be charged $179.40. I went out immediately. I feel so stupid.
