On October 22 I signed a contract with Computertraining. Edu for 6 months of Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist training. This program was designed to teach students information that could be used to take a cerifiaction test when it came time to take said test.
I started the actual class on December 2 and continued to take classes every Tuesday and Thursday night from 6pm to 10pm. This was until we were informed that the school was going to be shut down, December 29. My instructor was informed of this just 24 hours prior to telling the students. They were informed that they did not even have to tell us in person, that they should just stick a note on the door and leave.
The problem that I have with this school is that they all left the students high and dry. I am now out $13,500 which I payed the school up-front. Many other students payed the same way and there is no word from the school how we can re-coup our losses. I was directed to my state's dept. Of education and have filled a complaint with them.
I am deeply saddened by the events and all I want to do is finish up my education so I can look for a good job.
