I bought Norton Internet Security 2010 from eSoftwareDoctor. It is licensed for 3 PCs. I have 2 PCs and NIS is installed on both. My hard drive crashed on one. While it was being fixed, I installed NIS 2010 on a temporary laptop. When my original laptop was returned with a new hard drive and installed NIS 2010 again.

I couldn't activate NIS on the PC with the new hard drive since the system thinks this is a 4th PC. I called Norton support and they tried to reset the license number. They couldn't do it since I purchased it from eSoftware Doctor. Norton said to contact eSoftware to change the license number setting.

I tried working with eSoftware for 2 weeks but eSoftware Doctor would not send me new codes. They kept telling me in the online chat that they were going to send me new codes but never did. They lied to me up until the end when they said they couldn't do it and disconnected me from my live chat. They have no phone number to contact and now I am left with only one of my PCs protected by NIS.

It was a major waste of time and money to save $5.00 by purchasing from eSoftware Doctor rather than by purchasing from Norton. The Norton support tried for 20 minutes to reset the license number. If I purchased from Norton, all would have been well. They understood the hard drive crash.
