Liars, Thieves and Scoundrels

IBiz website company was hired by my company to build a web site.included in the deal was the set up of a local listing for my companies services.
I was told the web site would take 2 weeks to set up. It took over 4 weeks and all they did was cut and paste info from a very unsophisticated site I had built myself from a template. They never proofed it. They place more than half of the pictures from my project gallery under the wrong service which was so incredibly stupid. They never even looked at their work. The only requirement I made, design wise, when I signed on was a color scheme which they totally ignored and did the complete opposite from what I wanted.
Also included in the monthly cost was search engine optimization to help get my site seen. This was like pulling teeth. I had to call no less than 15 times to follow up on this.
They talked me into paying an additional $400 for additional local listings. After i paid the $400, that same jerk others have written about, Andrew, claimed the the $400 was for one local listing and put it in the town right next to the other local listing. When I explained that I never would have paid an additional $400 to have a second local listing in the town next to the one I already, had Andrew got nasty and hung up on me.
After 3 months and them being unable to set up the agreed upon local listing I finally gave up and decided to change services. I too was told I would have to pay an additional $150 if I wanted the files to my website. When I explained this to the people I was interviewing to set up my new site, they all said it was illegal for them to charge me. At that point I really didn't care about the $150 I just wanted to be done with this company.
Absolutely everything that this company did for me was was either; done wrong and had to be corrected, done much later than promised or never done to completion.
Every person I spoke to lied to me about what I should expect from their services, not all of it was intentional. There are just a lot of really stupid people working there that are told to lie to the customers and tell them everything they want to hear to sell a job.
My first complaint to them came 2 weeks after the site was supposed to be up. Sean, one of the owners, who claimed to be the boss told me I was wrong and that I had set up the service 2 weeks after I claimed. It wasn't until I proved to him when I paid for the service a month ago did he try to help me by passing me off to Andrew.
Andrew at some point informed me he really doesn't handle this type of work and that he was usually involved in much bigger accounts because he was too high paid to work on such small stuff. After he and I had a few arguments about service he hung up on me. Then Sean handled me over to Kirk, who I was told would be the guy to take care of everything for me. He also told me this wasn't what he got paid for and also got pissy with me and hung up on me. Then I was handed over to another guy who was literally on some type of medication that made him manic who also claimed that he was way too important to work on this type of stuff.
Phone calls were almost never returned and I would have to call back 2-3 times every time I wanted to speak to someone.
This was a complete nightmare for almost 6 months. I realize I lost a great deal of business once I hired a new web guy and within a few weeks 2-3 times as many leads started coming in.
Please stay away from this company! You will truly regret it. Hopefully you are doing the proper research I should have.
