Recently unemployed due to "headcount reduction" and in search of work I came across what sounded like a good opportunity to work from home. Ever hear that old saying "sounds too good to be true?" Well, I did apply, received a response and was asked to sign up for an instant messenger account so we could "affectively" communicate. However, before I went any further my intuition kicked in and I did some research. It took awhile but I came across a "ripoff report" from back in June and wasn't too surprised to see how much it resembled my story. The only difference was the company and contact person's names had changed.
The previous company was called "Western Computers", the contact was "Fred Gibson".
They are now going by "Western Logistics Inc" and the contact is "Hero Barry", pretty catchy I think.
