WebmoneyT Started charging $69.95 to my bank account without authorization Not Listed

Signed up for $1.95 7 day trial to get information on creating google links. Company starting charging bank account $69.95 a month stating it was in the terms and conditions that I had to opt out with the 7 day trial period. The terms and agreements are very vague. I say "are" because there were two different ones worded slightly different. Neither however clearly state that you "MUST OPT OUT" or your account will be charge. Kyle the supervisor said it is the consumers responsibility to read the terms of the agreement before giving their bank info. I took exception to this as the terms are vague and don't clearly state or express otherwise that if you don't opt out you will automatically be signed up. Behind the smoke this is nothing but clear fraud. First they dupe you into giving your bank account# by telling you it cost $1.95 for the "free" trial. Second, they have two separate terms non of which clearly state that you must opt out. Below is an excerpt from both terms;

* 7 Day RISK-FREE Trial: $1.94 is required for instant trial activation. With your successful trial signup today, you'll receive your instant RISK-FREE access to NetCadetPro for 7 days and a 14 day trial of AlternativeFunding only if you chose to accept this bonus offer.

I know that if I don't accept any other offers, there will only be a small $1.94 charged to my account today for the RISK-FREE Instant Access Trial. I will have 7 days from my original purchase date to decide if NetCadetPro is right for me. If I decide to continue, I understand that NetCadetPro will automatically accept my eligible enrollment and I will continue to receive the service at a discounted rate of $69.95 per month.

The key here is the statement "... If I decide to continue..'. I never decided to continue and no where does it state by not making a decision will I automatically be billed. What it say's is "If I decide to continue, I understand that NetCadetPro will automatically accept my eligible enrollment...". This implies that I have to make a decision not that it will be made for me.

This is the worst kind of fraud because they actually believe they are legally if not morally these types of bait and switch tactics are okay. I will give the company some props for taking my call but it really irritated me when the Customer Service Manager, Kyle, made reference to the fact that "... Consumers should read the terms and agreement before entering their bank accounts on-line". Like my wife stupid and should have figured this out before signing up. The truth is my wife is very bright and was just looking for a way to help pay the bills. She did read the terms and was misled.

To kyle I would say honest companies try to state clearly up front what their intentions are. They are also usually responsive when they realize a consumer is not happy with the product or felt mislead by the advertising. They can still can do the right thing but my guess is they are only in it for the short haul. They will make their money off unsuspecting consumers and then go off to some other scam. Not to say their product is not viable, I just don't like the fact that they sold it to me without my authorization. I have already submitted a dispute for the charges with my bank and will be submitting the terms and agreement to the Washington Attorney General. I also may submit this to the local networks in hopes of preventing other consumers from being ripped off of their hard earned money.
