I have a top dot com name that I wanted an appraisal on because I had multiple offers over the years in the $5,000 to up to $15,000 range, so I ordered a "Certified Appraisal" at GoDaddy.com for around $25. They said a human being would personally review it over the phone and it would take two to three days.
About 2 hours later I get an automated computer message, with a link to a page saying my domain was worth $88.
What a joke, I have existing offer (s) for over $10,000 and wanted to see if it's worth more, and I get a computer generated worthless garbage of a report.
So, I call customer service at GoDaddy and they said under no circumstances do they EVER REFUND MONEY FOR APPRAISALS, even if they are completely inaccurate and I should have read the legalize more accurately.
So, in the end it's obvious that paying GoDaddy to perform a certified appraisal of your "Domain Name" is completely worthless and about as valuable as visiting a fortune teller.
