I found a secret shopping company online. They seemed legit. I gave them my information, and they sent me back information about the type of work I will be doing for them.
They were very quick to respond, and seemed very professional. The website was well maintained, they gave detailed directions on what to do, and calculated all the nessesary extras for what the job entailed. They even offered to send me info on tips to be a better employee and such.
Once I recieved the check, I noticed it was from a car sales place, and that made me cautious. I went to one bank, and they could not tell the difference. I called the number on the check. They could not help me. I went to another bank, and they also could not tell. I was advised the only was to tell would be to deposit it in an account and see if it clears.
Sure enough, it did not. So I tried to contact the company, and now they are not so quick to respond...
