Software Company EA Games Imply Consumers Are Dishonest and Should be Treated as Such

I was reading the reviews on Amazon.com and at the end they ask if the review helped. This is my answer. I've put it here because even after registering I could not post this without having made a purchase within the last 24 hours. Also I was reading a post about EAGames Medal of Honor 10 which ran to slow to play any of the games that came with the pack. My computer has a 3 gig proceessor and a Nvidia 6200TC. Tested DirectX Have9c. Everything checked out OK except it said my sound card had no bufffers and had to play using software buffers. I have a few of the Call of Duty series and they run fine so I don't know what the problem is and I'm sick of trying to figure out why games won't work and whether or not or what I can do to make it work. If it doesn't work we should not be forced to keep it. The software companies are making big bucks on software that doesn't work for the consumers that purchase them. Most cases are probably not even reported to anyone so statistics on this would most likely be underestimated. Anyway these are my comments and I guess it would have to be classified as General ripoff.
Reading these reviews would have been helpful if I read them before purchasing. This is the third game purchased that won't run on my computer. The software companies have succeeded in forcing us to keep software that was not written to be compatable with all computers. The only thing you can do is return it and get another copy which doesn't help. Actually my girlfriend bought this one. Possibly doing a lot of research using a lot of my time downloading patches etc, I might be able to run this game, But I am fed up with purchasing games that only work on whatever machine they tested it on. I suppose it's not all EAGames fault. Apparently newer graphics cards are not backward compatable with older games and the same with operating systems. It used to be you could return a game if it didn't work, but now you can't because the software companies are basically saying that the majority of consumers are criminals trying to copy and steal their software and therefore we are not allowed to get our money back under any circumstances. I don't know how many people out there have the capability to copy copy protected software but I do know that you used be able to make a copy for archive purposes if the software became unreadable you could have a backup. I haven't been able to make a backup that worked in a very long time even though as far as I know that is allowed. I don't know if that was law, but if so it seems the software companies have been able to change the law supposedly to protect them from the hoardes of illegal copiers of software. Personally I don't know anyone that can copy protected software. I'm sure there are some computer geeks that have special software or knowledge to do this but I'm sure they are far and few between. So in order to stop those few geeks, software companies are being allowed to sell any piece of worthless crap and if we got sucked in to passing the money across the counter and the software doesn't work wer'e out the money and stuck with a piece of valueless plastic. The software companies have really got it made. I still remember the good old days when the consumer was treated with respect and software writers made sure their games worked across the board. Now software writers don't need to make sure their software works for everyone because you're stuck with it. There advertising to get you to purchase a game is more important. Personally I think this should be investigated by someone. To me they are the criminals. Most businesses have to treat their customers with respect and if the customer receives a bad product they can return it. But the software companies have no worries. All they have to do is get you to pass that money across the counter with no care about your satisfaction.
Personally I will not purchase any more software for my PC. The return policy of the software companies has turned me off. I'm tired of being treated like a criminal when trying to return software that doesn't work. Of course after trying twice to get my money back the third time I had already got it that I was stuck with another expensive frisbee. No More!!! I'll stick with Play Station.
