Beware of this scam! Good thing I looked for similar reports and discovered this (though of course I would not give out my credit card info if he had asked). This was a huge waste of time. I spent about 3 hours in this "interview." And of course that's not counting the time I invested with replying to the original advertisement, which I found on Craigslist. Below, I've pasted the chat, except that I've replaced my own name for privacy reasons.

: My last position was very slow. There wasn't much to do there, which is why the position was no longer required and I was laid off. Before that, I was employed in a variety of administrative and office assistant positions. I bring organization to every job I go to. I have, many times, written standards of procedure manuals, and training guides.

: I have been consistently clocked at 80wpm

: I will be as productive as possible. As I have stated, I am a full-time student who was recently laid off. I need a job to support myself and my two poodles, and I need it quickly. That is a very good motivation to be hard-working!

I'm sorry, but this seems like a scam. I need a job to earn money. I don't have money to purchase software. If this is a scam to try to get me to purchase the software ahead of any paychecks I might receive, I will have to decline immediately.
