Lice To Kill - Sheila Newth - LiceToKill.com and Warrior Forum Member Simba999 ordered copywriting services from my business at the end of July. Paid via credit card via Paypal. Work commenced on receiving her deposit payment of $325 (50% upfront) of a total $650 - the final 50% balance to be paid on completion ($325).
Sheila Newth - Lice To Kill - LiceToKill.com was initially completely delighted with the work that I carried out on her behalf, offering her full sales copy / copywriting advice, domain name advice (obviously not taken), extensive keyword research data and general marketing consultation advice.
After working on her project for close to 16 hours, preliminary research etc, laying the groundwork for the actual sales letter / sales copy, suddenly out of the blue, despite her obvious pleasure with all of my professional advice given to her so far... She cancelled the project, citing unforeseen household bills that had arrived in the post.
Sheila Newth - Simba999 promptly cancelled any further work from taking place and asked for a full and immediate refund of the 50% deposit paid.
I pointed out the TOS on my website, which clearly states that no deposit refunds can be issued once a copywriting project has commenced. This is standard industry practice in the copywriting sector. She (Sheila Newth - Warrior Forum Member Simba999 of LiceToKill.com) accepted this, told me formally to cancel the project and to keep the deposit for all of the valuable assistance rendered up until that point in time.
Roll forwards 26 September (the deposit was made on 31 July directly by Sheila Newth). Sheila Newth LiceToKill.com instigated a Chargeback with her credit card company for the full $325 paid directly by her to my business. She claimed an Unauthorised Payment.
Paypal immediately deducted the money without contacting me first and took the money from my Paypal account without my permission.
This action by Sheila Newth Lice To Kill, Warrior Forum Member Simba999 running website LiceToKill.com put my Paypal account immediately well into the red - it is now displaying a rather unhealthy negative balance and the money that was in credit in there has all disappeared from my Paypal account.
To add insult to injury Paypal have also issued a charge against me for this very unexpected chargeback instigated by Sheila Newth of LiceToKill.com
So not only did I waste many hours of my time giving my professional copywriting advice to Sheila Newth, all that time, all of that advice, she has now essentially received completely free, without paying a single cent for it!
I'm left out of pocket by $325, I've lost hours of time that could have been better spent elsewhere and on top of that, this scenario has incurred extra charges being levied against me for something that was completely not my fault.
The only reason Sheila Newth / Simba999 / LiceToKill.com cited for cancelling this copywriting project was completely unrelated household bills arriving that she couldn't pay.in a nutshell, it is me that has just paid for these bills, whatever the hell they were. Sheila Newth claimed an unauthorized payment being made when she knows full well that she made the initial 50% deposit payment to me herself.
This is nothing short of stealing. She was more than happy with my work as her emails testify, it was completely unrelated bills that caused her to not want to continue doing business and now I've lost out by a few hundred dollars, through no fault at all of my own.
I am calling Sheila Newth Lice To Kill LiceToKill.com, Warrior Forum Member Simba999 out to be a complete 100% scammer online. If Sheila Newth can do that to me when I take great pleasure in over-delivering to all my clients, she would do this to anyone, essentially robbing them blind.
Whatever you do, do not accept requests for copywriting services from Sheila Newth Simba999 / LiceToKill.com -If you do, you can expect her to completely and utterly waste your time, she will take your professional advice, run with it and will later on instigate fraudulently an unauthorized chargeback request to her credit card company, leaving you the professional service provider, completely out of pocket.
I would urge anyone not to touch or do any business under any circumstances with Sheila Newth until she makes good on this payment.
If she responds favorably to this report here, I will more than happily update this report, but not until I am fully paid the full $325 that is rightfully mine.
If I was living in California, I'd be sending collection agencies straight to her front door.in this recession, it's difficult enough as it is being self employed and trying to keep your head above water without putting up with this kind of hassle and aggravating non-sensical truly ridiculous behavior!
