(Owner Joe Lovrek) Fraudulent Scam Business Steals Money and Sells Bogus OCZ Computer Memory

On May 17 I spoke on the phone to the claimed "owner" of Wholesaledealers.com about the purchase of $394.44 worth of OCZ brand computer memory. He said he had it in stock and for me to order it online at his website to which I did. After repeated phone calls to him inquiring as to where my order was I received it on May 29th, a full 12 days later. (I order from another Company in Texas frequently and it takes only 2 days by UPS ground.)

After opening the sealed box I noticed that the memory was not in sealed OCZ packaging nor were the clear plastic containers the same as used by OCZ. I didn't think too much about it at the time thinking OCZ may have changed their packaging from the last time I purchased their memory.

The memory performed extremely poor to the point where it was difficult to keep the computer from crashing constantly. I called Joe Lovrek and asked if I could exchange it for different OCZ memory and he said that their wasn't a problem. This memory was $100.00 cheaper in price. I also ordered more OCZ memory at that time, as a new line of memory had just been released by OCZ, and to which he said he would have in 5 days.

6 days later I called Joe Lovrek again to inquire as to whether the order had shipped and he stated he was still waiting for OCZ to "specially build" the memory. I now knew I had a CHRONIC LIAR on my hands and realized that the first order was not OCZ memory but something he packaged up himself because other online companies were selling the same memory by now by the hundreds. (In fact I placed an order with the company in Texas, mentioned above, that I frequently do business with and received it 2 days later... Yet STILL did not receive the order from Wholesaledealers.com!)

My suspicions were confirmed after calling the OCZ Company and being informed by them as to how they package ALL their memory. I emailed Joe Lovrek and informed him of what OCZ said about their packaging and this guy claims they were packaged in original OCZ packaging with the seals and that SOMEONE MUST HAVE DID A SWITCH AFTER HE MAILED THEM BY UPS! This guy was worse than a CHRONIC LIAR! He is living in LA-LA LAND!

At this point I was wondering if I would ever see my memory or the money I placed in his hands but I did receive the order on June 9, approximately 2 weeks after placing the order! This memory WAS in correct OCZ packaging.

After not seeing my credit card not credited back the $100.00 from the original purchase I emailed the SCUMBAG WANNABE CON ARTIST and asked him where my money was. This idiot told me that "after all he did for me" he didn't owe me a thing. The idiot actually believes himself, I think.

I have since filed a complaint with the IFCC and spoken with OCZ (who are very familiar with Joe the Jerk, not my words.) and have disputed the charges with my credit card. I am also in the process of speaking to the Texas Attorney General and Indiana's as well to see if criminal fraud and theft charges can be brought against this slimeball for using the Internet in the commision of fraud, theft and deception.

Stay far, far away from www.wholesaledealers.com, aka joe "the jerk" lovrek.
