I bought a beautiful vase of flowers for my aunt who is sick in the hospital. I even paid extra to have it upgraded for more roses. The total came to over $70! I was happy to pay this for my favorite aunt because I knew that she would enjoy her favorite flower... The rose. Well, my parents were in the hospital room when the flowers were delivered and they were nothing like the flowers pictured or described online. The arrangement was mostly carnations with a few lillies (not supposed to be in the arrangement at all), and only one rose! Plus it was all arranged in a hideous brown vase (it was supposed to come with a clear glass funky vase). My mom even took a picture of it for me with her camera on her cell phone.
I called FTD to complain about the arrangement and nothing was done. They said they could pick up the flowers and have a new batch sent! No way! THat is completely embarrassing! Sorry Aunt Linda, they're taking your flowers away... Not on your life! Or my other option was to have the flowers picked up and have my money returned. Again, that's horrible to go into someone's hospital room and retrieve gifted flowers because the florist totally messed up! So nothing is to be done. Needless to say, I will NEVER use FTD again, and I will let everyone I know how horrible their customer service is.
