World of Warcraft is Blizzard Entertainment's most popular (to date) computer game. Since the game was launched, users have been plagued with random disconnects, and are then unable to log back in. Once in a while, Blizzard will actually acknowledge these downages and offer some small portion of information about the outage, but typically, they have no explanation for the outage.
Whenever Blizzard takes a shot at estimating how long an outage will be, they are always inaccurate, it always takes half an hour plus for service to be restored.
People who play this game pay $15/month per account. We agree that 100% uptime is not part of the deal, but as big as Blizzard is, we should be given monetary credit, or free play time based on the outages.
