I bid on 3 pieces of jewelry on Bidz, when I went to check out it asked how I wanted the items shipped, it did not give me any other option other than to have them expedited to me, and the cheapest S/H was around $10.95 so I thought OK, I'll grit my teeth and deal with that figure.
I also noticed when I went to check out, on the screen where the items were listed that I won and was to pay for, another item had been added to those items won, which of course I did not win. It did have a delete button next to that item which I immediately used to delete it from the money owed.
When I looked at the checkout screen, it had an additional $3.00 shipping fee listed next to item #2 as well as another $3.00 shipping fee listed next to item #3, this was in addition to the $10.95 S/H next to item #1 bringing my total to more like $43.00 NOT $30.00 and something which the actual total of my order with shipping should have been. I did not click submit when I noticed that. This was deceptive and another way to rack up more money from the customer.
I noticed that the items I won do expire in 5 days, so I did not click the Submit button to pay for them.
I just thought you should be aware not to use that site. I'm going back to eBay, at least when they say the shipping is a certain amount, it is that amount with no added charges.
