Seattle Coffee Direct is one of the most unethical business I have come across. They have misleading promotions and they lie about own their terms and conditions of their so called club.
My wife thought she was getting a good deal when she purchased two travel mugs, two regular mugs and two bags of coffee for what she thought was $5.00. It turns out that the wording on that promotion was convoluted and it was actually $5.00 each, for a total of $25.00. Also when you purchase that promotion you are automacially enrolled into their ripoff of a coffee club. The terms and conditions of course were on a separate page from their promotion and easily overlooked.
That being said they even lied about their own terms and conditions. According to their own words they are supposed to send coffee twice a month but we were billed five times with in a ten day period which included their promotional package of cheap mugs. To make matters worse of the four additional times we were billed we received only three packages of coffee.in that ten day period we were ripped off approximately $180.00.
Never buy anything from Seattle Coffee Direct or trust anything that they say. Lying to and cheating their customers is central to their business strategy and they must be avoided at all costs.
