I was asked by a colleague to help transfer a website to a different hosting company.in doing so, I contacted Goldfish Network to ask some simple questions about this process.
In two conversations I had with one staff member in particular, I found them to be extremely unpleasant, rude and unprofessional. I have no idea why they would behave that way toward me, as I had never met or had any dealings with the company prior to being asked to help with the web site transfer.
I contacted the company a total of three times over a period of three weeks. No call lasted more than a couple of minutes.in all cases I asked simple questions in a professional manner.in two cases the person I was talking to abruptly hung up on me. Later, this same person sought to discredit my intelligence to a business colleague. These actions were completely unprovoked by me.
An email message to my client suggested that I was incompetent, an absurd and damaging remark. Their contact with me had been extremely limited. They had no basis to make such a defamatory claim, especially not to a client of mine. With no justification that I could imagine, they tried to discredit me personally, and to damage my relationship with someone I do business with.
