So, I have been a Comcast customer for more than 10 years. I have had my share of good and bad experiences with them but stuck around because I did not have much of a choice.
A few months ago, Comcast charged me a late fee.in fact, they charged me two months fee and the late fee to my automated payment. I am not sure how Comcast could have charged me a late fee on an automated payment but they managed to do it. I usually do not check their email invoices because my payments are automatic.in any case, I happened to notice this and gave them a call. After several minutes on hold and being bounced around, I finally got a prson from billing on the call. She checked the bill and told me matter of fact that it was a mistake and Comcast will adjust the extra month payment and the late fee as a credit for my future bills. Then cam the punch line - and by the way, the lday continues, the pricing on your bill is wrong. You are only paying 44.90 on a 59.90 plan. Apparently, since I did not have their brain dead cable TV service, they want to charge me 59.90 effective immediately. This is ridiculous since I called them over a billing issue and they are pulling some other trick on me. I asked that I speak to a supervisor. The supervisor (not sure if it was actually a supervisor) was another nut case. She said there was nothing she could do. I asked her to downgrade my internet plan to the cheapest they had, which happened to be $39.90 ($5 less than my current plan). My gain - their loss. I wonder how these guys stay in business with such crappy service.in any case, they wont be enjoying my loyality anymore. FIOS is now available in our area and I am switching ASAP. Bye Bye comcast, and a decade of your rip off service.
