Advertisingcrossing Did not cancel my trial subscription

I signed up for a "7-Day Trial" of EmploymentCrossing. I know, I should have known better, but the site looked like it would be a good site. After going through it, I realized that the $29 monthly fee really wasn't a very good investment considering the jobs they had listed could easily be found on some of the free national sites. So on the seventh day, I went to cancel my account, but you are UNABLE to do it via email.instead you have to call their customer service number. When I called, they were closed for a holiday. So, I wanted a record of the fact that I was trying to cancel my account. I sent them several emails on the seventh day expressing my lack of interest in their site, because its really a waste of money.

Basically their response was... Sorry, but you didn't call us within the seven days of your "trial, " so we are going to charge you the $29. When I finally did call to cancel, I ended up speaking to some customer disservice representative who was rude and argumentitive.

Most LEGITIMATE businesses would honor your cancellation if it was that obvious that you were trying to cancel their service within the seven days of your "trial." Obviously a company that doesn't, has SERIOUS legitimacy issues.

I have cancelled, but please let my experience save you the trouble of dealing with this questionable organization.
