Failure to honor rebate

Failure to honor 2 rebates for a power supply purchased from buy.com.
Rebates submitted 9/1.

Received email responses similar to the other customers who were screwed by this company.

We received your mailings on 09/01 and they have both been qualified. Due to the high volume of rebates we are currently handling, please allow an additional 6 weeks allotted time for your checks to be mailed. The reason for this delay is in part due to the company we were outsourcing the rebates to. Please rest assured that we've taken the rebate duties back to in-house. We are currently taking the steps to process these rebates. We kindly appreciate your patience.

Since the last line of communication, these rebates still haven't been expedited. I will let the rebate manager know that you've made on going attempts to resolve this matter. You can still expect to potentially wait up to an additional month for the rebate checks on offers #11043 and #11044 each for $26.00 to be mailed. Thanks.

The company is currently going through a transitioning period. You can expect to wait for another month for payment to be rendered on these MIR's..

The company stopped responding to my emails after 6/30/08. Their rebate dept phone number rings to a full voicemail box that does not accept messages. Their other departments also ring to voicemail.
