Everyday on my laptop computer a box pops up and says Paltalk, Palpay, and the infamous Norton Security box. So my boyfriend thinks that he needs to pay for the new subscription for the security of the computer. Come to find out some how, some way my money was taken out of my personal checking account for some company by the name of ChronoPay.
So I go and look this company up on the internet. On the company's website it lets you look up the transaction by using your credit card number and email address. I can see all my information on the page. So I try and find a way to contact this company. First of all, the address looks very strange and not normal. It said World Trade Center, C Tower 14th Floor Strawinskylaan 1443,1077 XX Amsterdam, The Netherlands. (AND THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT IT SAYS - STRANGE UH!) The telephone number contact says: 0031 20 79 401 10 and the fax: 0031 20 79 401 20 (VERY STRANGE). On their website it has a box that says REQUEST REFUND. So I click on it and nothing happens. Well something did happen - it freaking just disappears. I go back and i try several different things and I could never find that box again - IT JUST DISAPPEARED. Then there also was a box that said "Call Back". So I put my information in and clicked continue. It denied me access and would not let me continue. CRAZY! On their website it also has all their supposed to be locations. Many in other countries, but one in the United States. The address said 101 N.E. 3rd Ave, suite 1405 Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301 United States Phone: 954 332 3516 Fax: 954 703 2950. So I called the number listed. A man answers and says that they are a Cruise line. I said I dialed the number listed on the website for ChronoPay and he said well you have got the wrong number. Then I asked if he was located in Fort Lauderdale, FL and wanted to confirm the address. Much to my dismay he said that their address was different than what was on ChronoPays website and that the number also on their website was incorrect. I said but I dialed what was there, so how did I reach you. He said "I have absolutely no clue!"
So now I am at my wits end with this company. I cannot contact them in any way shape or form. And I do not know what to do. What I do know is that these people took $52 for whatever I still don't know, along with an extra international fee of $2. So I have lost $54 to a rip-off company and I still do not know how they even got my information, unless they hacked into my computer and got it. Now i am pissed very pissed!!! Do not give these people your information at all unless you like donating your money to con-artists!!!
