Fraudulent emails, SCAM, possible class action New York new york

I was in Iraq, and signed up for freelotto, figuring that I didn't have anything to lose trying. For the first month or so, I recieved emails that had my numbers, then the emails stopped. I changed my credit card, as mine was destroyed in Iraq.

Since freelotto did not send me emails as long as they were being paid, I forgot they even existed. As soon as they didn't have a valid credit card number from me, they sent me an email stating VERY clearly that I won 1 million, 50,300 dollars.

I was skeptical, although yahoo domainkeys confirmed the email came from them. I sent a letter to [email protected], and recieved a reply that the email did indeed come from them.

I clicked on the email, and it sent me to a website, which I have saved on my computer as proof, stating that I won, and that I needed to confirm a security number. It wanted me to fill out some lotto numbers, or click on the quickfill option, I did so, and clicked confirm.

The next website they sent me to, which I also have saved on my computer as proof, asked me for my credit card information. Not thinking (as the prospect of winning 1 million dollars tends to make you do) I filled out the information.

After I did this, it just signed me into freelotto.com. I then read the instructions on how to claim prizes, followed the instructions, and sent the number that THEY supplied. I recieved an email stating that my claim was denied because I did not provide the TSN, which they never provided me.

Something needs to be done about this company. They are a fraud, and I am curious to find out if they have EVER paid anyone. The numbers are very suspect, as I was reading other reports, and these people also were told that they won the exact same amount as I was.

This company warrants a class action lawsuit. I WILL be reporting them to the United States Army Consumer Affairs, and will contact JAG to see if I have any basis for a lawsuit. If there are any attorneys willing to start a class action against them, please do so.

Almost forgot about this, but it CLEARLY states that it is free to play on their website, but I have never even seen that option.
