Of Canada Tried To Get 39. Out Of My Bank Account Without An Order accessed my bank account without having any info via Internet... Just hacked from getting a free scan from them Victoria British Columbia Canada

I accessed RegCure for a free scan on my computer. There was no entry of name address or any money info.

After the scan, of course, you get a message that you need so many viruses cleared from you computer to hit this button whereby you can give all of the info available to purchase their program.

I closed the window, empty my history and cookies and went on about my business. The next day I got a call from the fraud department of my bank asking if I had authorized a charge for $39 bucks from a company in Canada called 'scan' something. I said no and they had my account blocked, refused the charge and I had to go to the bank and open a new account with a different number.

Now... How did this happen? Well, since no info, name, address, banking info, etc was submitted to the website, according to a computer geek friend of mine, they hacked my computer.

I got it cleared up... But, it was time consuming. Do not allow anyone to free scan your computer! But, stay away from RegCure.com and the parent operation of ParetLogic.
