Had to pay over $800 for an airline ticket when the flight was cancelled

My wife and I purchased airline tickets with this company and the airline went bankrupt. The BMC Group and other attorneys informed us that Bill Me Later was responsible for filing a claim to the airline to receive a refund. They never filed a claim and blamed Hotwire and us for not paying them. They eventually turned the case over to a collection agency and my wife's credit was destroyed as a result. We had to pay the bill last week and feel like we really got scammed in this whole mess. We do not recommend that anyone use this company to pay for online purchases.
