I am a former employee of Officetronics and I quit working there because of the severe level of fraud being commited at Officetronics. The owner is Philip Kim and he commits fraud on every level you can imagine within his business.
Since the first day I worked at Officetronics he was purchasing used and refurbished equipment from Hewlett Packard, Epson, Garmin and etc. After receiving these used and refurbished equipment he would clean them by using a electric eraser and heat guns to remove refurbished stickers and used equipment stickers on the boxes and equipment. These products would be then sold to unaware customers such as the Goverment, Resellers, End Users as brand new when the products were used and refurbished. When I confronted Philip Kim about this fraud and also misclassifying his employees for IRS taxes he at that point terminated me from work. The level of fraud at this company is involved with is cheating the IRS and not paying taxes on local sales that involved cash transactions. Selling refurbished and used equipment in the millions of dollars. On top of that Philip Kim is a cunning individual who will cheat anyone and everyone he can get away with. When I was working at Officetronics Philip demanded from employees to continue to commit fraud and threatening employees. I want to let everyone know that Officetronics and Philip Kim are not legit. The biggest leve of fraud is with Hewlett Packard products that have the refurbished stickers removed. At one time I was instructed to remove GOVERMENT Compliant stickers off printers and forge #201's on these products so they could be sold to the goverment. These products were intended to be sold to the goverment which involves high security and Philip Kim has manipulated these serial numbers to look as though they are Goverment compliant. I urge anyone who has purchased products from Officetronics to be careful and check the true condition of the goods purchased.
Regarding the positive reviews about Officetronics I was instructed on a daily basis to write false positive reviews about Officetronics. All these postive reviews were written for Pricegrabber, Nextag, Dealtime, Bizrate, Shopzilla, ResellerRatings. The way these reviews were written was through PROXY server. Everytime we recieved a negative review from a customer about a refurbished product being sold as new. Philip Kim instructed us to call these Shopping sites like Nextag, Pricegrabber, Bizrate, Dealtime, Shopzilla, Resellerratings to remove these negative reviews. To my shock these shopping sites actually removed these reviews without questioning the customers. I urge anyone to becareful with these sites because they will remove any negative review you write about a company that could affect there advertising. I am a previous employee of Officetronics and this is only the tip of the iceberg on the level of fraud commited at Officetronics. Buyer beware!
