Proflowers.com has been making a recurrent monthly charge of $14.95 to my credit card account, apparently starting with my purchase of a Mother's Day flower delivery back in May. There was also some kind of one-time charge of $1.95. I did not authorize any such charges and I have demanded that Proflowers.com have my account refunded immediately. They say they can only refund the most recent such charge.
Because of the phone number on my monthly credit card statement being an 800 number in Pennsylvania, I had mistakenly thought the "EZSVR RW" charges on prior credit card monthly statements had been gas purchases made by my wife at a convenience store during her frequent trips to Pennsylvania to see her sister suffering with breast cancer. It was only after seeing two identical charges for $14.95 on the October statement that I realized this was not a gas station charge, but something else entirely.
Phone calls to their customer service line put you on hold for over an hour, emails to their customer service people are completely ignored. And even after written and oral demands, they continue to send me email offers.
Let me stress that I have no quarrel with their services in regards to ordering and delivering flowers and plants.indeed, I have used this service for many years. However, this EZSVR gimmick has soured me on their company. I will never use them again even if they repay the money they have taken.
