Verizon One Bill - OnePay - Verizon Communications
Verizon One Bill - OnePay - Verizon One Bill - Verizon Communications OneBill paid for services I didn't accept on my behalf and has put me into collections Operating In Leesburg Virginia

This fiasco has now spanned the better part of two years. It all began when I legitamately used and entered into a relationship with Verizon One Bill to give convienence to my multiple fax/land lines, my internet and my cellular bills.

That was when I lived at house#1. When I moved from house#1 I terminated my relationship with Verizon OneBill because I only had my cell phones.

I began to get bills directly from Verizon Wireless (a different company) and all was well.

That was until I attempted to get internet service at house#2. (almost 8mo's later.) via Verizon Online (Yet a different company). The offer was Verizon tripple play, and I was EXPRESSLY concerned that the home I was renting was too far away from the postal road address. I explained all this to the sales technician, with the understanding that I didn't want the deal without the internet. They of course agreed.

I was connected with landline immediately (2days.) The internet was scheduled for 14days later.

30days after that, I call to find out what was going wrong, and they informed me that the internet order was cancelled. I was livid. Canceled because I was too far away from the main loop. I told them to cancel all service, refund clear any accounts charged, and that I didn't want any of it if they couldn't fullfill their agreed upon offer. They said of course, I owed them nothing, and was free to go. I went away feeling free, if not happy.

Three months later, however I am provided with a letter that I am in collections. With verizon one-bill. Who was resurected somehow, and grabbed my landline bill, my triple play connection fee, my internet fee (none of which were actually delivered.) and two months of my wireless bill!!!

No wonder Verizon Land/Online was happy to part ways with me. They had already gotten their money from Verizon OneBill!!!

Verizon had resurrected an account that was closed (Thankfully leined against a credit card that was closed.) Billed a home that was sold, and has impuned my credit for fees that were not accepted.

While on the phone with Verizon OneBill I clearly told them that i was NOT party to accepting their services, never agreed to reinstate service, and was refusing to accept their charges, since only some of it was legitamate, and they had no incentive to refund any monies because THEY had already paid them on my behalf. PHOOEY! They promptly removed my OneBill account service.

After over 40hours on the phone, I succeed to get ONE MANAGER FROM EACH COMPANY on the same phone conversation. My customer rep from Verizon Wireless, one from OneBill, One from the land line company, and one from Verizon Online.

I patiently explain to them the situation. That I WANT to give wireless their money, for the good service... I refuse to give any of the other companies money... I tell everyone to refund the money to OneBill and settle their accounts with me seperately. They all refuse. They say that monies can't be transferred in that direction... Arrrrrrggggg. I refuse to put my money up front and demand it back later...

They all say they will escallate this up the management tree, and that a negotiator will call me later.

It goes away for four months. With no call or resolution.

I am back in collections.

I deny the charges to the collections agency with another explanation.

The drop the charges.

I inform Verizon OneBill again.

They still dont' call.

I'm back in collections.

I still have all the bills etc... And they have the phone conversations recorded because I expressly requested that they BE recorded.

THIS IS SOOOOOOOOOOOOO WRONG. And I am being forced to spend my afternoons on the phone dealing with it. I am up to 68hrs of time logged on this problem. Sixty Eight!!! Thats over $3500 dollars of my time and energy!!! Stolen.

Someone please help or advise how I take this to small claims court.

Thank you.
