My 14 year old son used my credit card to sign up for what he thought was a survey to make money. He now understands that if someone wants your credit card number it is not so they can send you money.instead it billed my credit card for $1.95, The following month it billed the card for $59.95, that is when I discover the bill.
I called 800-497-4988 and talked to Jessie in customer service and was told "this happens all the time, we will refund the $59.95". I called back a week later and Brad told me "that this is not a porno site so we are not obligated to refund anything" I asked for a manager and was told "I am the manager. I then called the Utah Attorney Generals office, no answer. I then sent them an e-mail, actually every week for a month with no response. Filled out a form with the Salt Lake Better Business Bureau. A week later I received the response, a form letter that says my 14 year old son agreed to the terms and they were not refunding anything. What a rip off!!!
There appears to be many names for this company. The initial bill was from eAuction, the people that answer the phone are with Amazing Web Store and the letter from the BBB is from Pacific Web Works / Set your sites
