First of all, I would like to report that I mistakenly filed a complaint with the REAL company named Global Web Solutions located in Richmond, VA. After speaking with them, I would like to make sure it is known that they are actively seeking legal actions against companies using the Global Web Solutions name in violation of U.S. Patent law. So I hope they see this.
Anyway, what Global Coastal aka Global Web Solutions does is contact you saying that they are responding to a request for information regarding starting a home web business, which they have pilfered from one of these websites that are advertised on TV (myhomebizguide, the "crazy fox", etc.). They then have a very elaborate scheme by which they convince you that they can offer you a website that offers access to eBay, Amazon.com, & hotels.com (i.E. Complete with 100% money-back guarantees) The price they charge varies based on how many of the services you want. They did not contact me as promised regarding my website design, they did not send me any of the materials they promised, and inundated me with calls attempting to sell me more services (as if they had NO idea I was already a customer). This last item was the one that tipped me off, but of course it was too late.
The given name of the contact I spoke with was Aandra, so if you are contacted by this company or this person, BEWARE!!! The reason I did not post my name & other info at the bottom of this report is that they have my credit card information & if they view this, they may retaliate and attempt to make large charges against my account. Since they have proven themselves to be untrustworthy, I would not put anything past them. Please be careful when dealing with Global Web Solutions. There are many imitators out there, so make sure you are talking with the authentic company bearing this name.
