I bought a new computer from them as my old one suddenly died. The agreement was that they would insert my old hard drive in the new machine. I have valuable files on the hard drive that I still cannot access. The reason is that they did not insert the hard drive in the new machine.instead they transferred a few files without consulting me. None were important, and almost all of them are on CD and I could install them if I wanted to.
To add insult to injury, I decided to try transferring the old hard drive into a third one, a garage sale special. When I opened up the dead computer, I noticed that a 500 MB memory module (512 MB for the nitpickers) had been removed from the machine. I had to use the 256 MB module that originally came with it to run an unsuccessful test. I ordered the 500 MB memory module on the internet years before and installed it myself.
I contacted the owner. She ignored the complaint about not transferring the hard drive, and denied that there is any such thing as a 500 MB memory module. What a ripoff! I pay for the service, and don't get it, and then I have a memory module stolen too!
