I purchased a table and 6 chairs from JMX, for &3,973.
They arrived on July 1, and i am dismayed at the poor quality of workmanship. The chairs are fair, (dont look very close) but the table has cracks with gaps clear through, at the joinery.
I have delayed reporting to the better business bureau until now because of my great respect for Amish craftmanship... We all have a place in our hearts for our Amish peoples' very special traditions and culture, not to mention high regard for Amish woodwork.
I had to think about what i want... Just want my money back, and want JMX to stop selling poor quality woodwork in the name of "Amish". If it is actually Amish craftsmanship, it is not helping the reputation of Amish furniture.
I did send photographs to JMX with 3x5 cards inserted through and through the cracks. Mr. Miller has never returned calls or e-mailed me back. But the saleswoman politely told me that some of the tables are worse, so she hopes i learn to like it, and "goodbye".
