Spoke with Evan Hamlet of Host4Yourself for several days prior to making a purchase. Was assured if we had problems that he would simply refund us what we paid. We ordered and did have problems. The dedicated server we purchased did not come configured correctly, we required information from Host4Yourself to make the server operate correctly and Host4Yourself did not have the knowledge necessary to provide the product correctly. Host4yourself is not claiming that we are the ones that are trying to rip them off? Ever hear something like this, a company takes money, has possession of the product, and says that the customer is committing fraud?
We tried to work things out with Evan, he just keeps making up excuses and now he's saying he spent $200 to keep this $50 product online. Now you tell me, who would spend $200 to keep a $50 product online and also if you did that, why not just refund the customer instead of fighting with them? Makes no sense to us.
